Yoga found me when I needed it most. Through grief, heartache, and the quiet unraveling that comes with deep loss, my mat became the one place I could breathe and eventually begin to heal. I am Lisa Eshun-Wilson, a 500-hour certified yoga teacher (E-RYT 200, with an additional 300-hour certification from House of Om in Pelaga, Bali, Indonesia) trained across the traditions of Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Yin. My practice is precise, breath-led, and rooted in the belief that stillness is not passive. It is one of the bravest things we can do.
My deepest hope is to offer others what yoga has given me: tools to regulate the nervous system, navigate the weight of big emotions, and come home to themselves. I am especially drawn to working with children and young people, because the earlier we learn to breathe through fear, sit with discomfort, and trust our own bodies, the more resilient, courageous, and self-assured we become.
